He practiced a variety of complex injury cases alongside his father, R.T. Green, for more than five years at Blackburn & Green, including tractor-trailer collisions, car crashes, and fall cases, before they co-founded Team Green Law.

Collin Green came to law through two hands-on careers that required significant problem solving skills and shaped how he approaches the complexities of personal injury cases today.
He graduated from Ball State University in 2006 with a degree in Landscape Architecture allowing him to land his first career with a design firm located in Charlotte North Carolina.
Here he worked alongside a project manager reshaping land by way of design for a variety of clients using AutoCAD and Adobe products. When the economy contracted, construction did as well and he was forced to pivot.
His second career kicked off after earning a Masters of Science and Technology with a concentration in Construction Management from Purdue University. He worked as a project engineer for one of the state’s largest electrical contractors. For several years this career put him on active construction sites across Indiana.
He gained experience bidding jobs, reading and interpreting construction plans and specifications, reviewing job contracts, sourcing and purchasing materials, organizing project workflows, overseeing safety compliance, and learning how heavy equipment, building systems, and job-site protocols function in real-world conditions.

Choosing Law to Practice With His Father
When construction management started pulling Collin toward multi-year projects outside Indiana, he made a choice.
He and his wife, Marie, were building a family and putting down roots. He enrolled at IU McKinney School of Law knowing he planned to practice personal injury law alongside R.T.
Collin spent more than five years handling complex injury and wrongful death cases with his father at Blackburn & Green in Fort Wayne before they launched Team Green Law together.
That apprenticeship gave him a foundation in trial preparation, case valuation, and client communication that most attorneys spend a decade developing independently.

The firm also focuses on preparing clients for important stages of their cases. Clients receive videos in advance of depositions and mediations that explain what to expect and address common questions.

What Role Did Collin Green Play in Creating the Fair Fee Guarantee?
Collin Green pushed to make the Team Green Fair Fee Guarantee a public, front-facing part of our firm’s identity. R.T. had adjusted his contingency fee for decades in cases where the standard percentage left clients with less money than the attorney.
Collin saw the value in that practice and argued it belonged in every client conversation, on the website, and on the billboard.
The Fair Fee Guarantee keeps the contingency under 40% on every case Team Green Law accepts. We structure the fee so the client receives more than our firm’s fee on every recovery. If the ratio in any case tips the wrong direction, we lower our percentage.
Collin has pointed out that some Indiana firms charge 45% or 50% once a case enters litigation. Fee structures like that may leave the injured person with a small fraction of their own recovery. Our Fair Fee Guarantee exists to prevent that outcome.
The guarantee is a fee-related client protection. It is not a promise about the value of any specific case or a guarantee of a particular financial outcome.

How Is Collin Green Involved in the Indiana Community?
Collin Green leads Team Green Law’s community involvement across Indiana. The firm partners with veteran support organizations in northern and central Indiana, reflecting a family connection to military service that spans multiple generations.
Collin’s grandfather on the Green side served in the Army National Guard, while his grandfather on the Wilkin side served in the U.S. Army. His great-uncle Green also served in the U.S. Marine Corps.
That family history helps shape Team Green Law’s continued support for veterans and veteran-focused organizations throughout Indiana.
The entire Team Green Law office will donate their time and resources to organizations that serve homeless and at-risk veterans across the state.
Supporting Indiana Veterans Through Local Partnerships
One of the most rewarding partnerships we have is with Clothes for Joes, a nonprofit organization committed to supporting Northeast Indiana veterans.
Founded in 2015 and run entirely by volunteers, Clothes for Joes provides essential items and resources to veterans in need, treating every veteran with the care, compassion, and respect they deserve.
Our involvement goes beyond simply providing financial support. We’ve partnered with 469 Cycle Shop to donate more than 500 items, including hats, gloves, and bags, to help meet the basic needs of local veterans during the cold winter months.
Additionally alongside 469 Cycle Shop, we’ve been a sponsor of the Bike Giveaway to raise proceeds that go towards Clothes For Joes and helping homeless veterans.
We’re also proud to be the presenting sponsor of the Allen County Veteran Stand Down for 2025 and 2026; a day dedicated to honoring and supporting those who have served our country. We’ve also supported Clothes for Joes in their efforts to make their new Veteran Service Center in Fort Wayne a reality.
We’re equally proud of our partnership with HVAF of Indiana, an organization dedicated to providing housing, resources, and hope to veterans experiencing homelessness.
Our involvement has included volunteering our time at their food pantry, helping clean a transition house, and participating in the 2026 Marion County Stand Down.
For us, these partnerships are an opportunity to give our time, resources, and support to the veterans in our communities who have sacrificed for our country.
Youth Sports and the Green Family Legacy
Collin also coordinates the firm’s youth sports sponsorships and ticket giveaways. Team Green Law sponsors a number of professional sport teams across Indiana and gives away game tickets to help families attend events they might not otherwise afford.
Basketball has always been part of the Green family story. From Collin’s grandfather coaching Indiana high school basketball for 19 years, to R.T.’s coaching Collin had his brother, and now Collin carrying that tradition forward, the game has shaped how the family approaches competition, leadership, and teamwork.
That basketball mentality carries directly into the way Collin practices law. He believes in competing every day, never accepting defeat, and understanding that there is no “I” in team. Success comes from building a strong team around you; one where everyone knows their role, holds each other accountable, and works together toward the same goal.
